Cinderella a Smash Hit

It Could Be The Start of a New Christmas Tradition

With the first four performances under their belts, the cast and crew are taking a few days off to rest up for the final weekend run of their smash hit "Cinderella".

If you are planning on seeing this hilarious panto (one audience member was overheard in the lobby saying, "I laughed so hard my face hurts all over") then you better get your tickets today. All three remaining performances are almost sold out.

Smiths Falls Community Theatre President Jamie Schoular has this to say about one of the largest productions ever mounted by the group.

"Cinderella has been a great success. We have had excellent audiences and from what I am told we have full or near full houses for the remainder of the run. Thanks to the actors and actresses, the production crew and the backstage crew for all of their hard work. We also are indebted to those who have worked behind the scenes - the front of house staff, the technical crew, those who have cleaned up before and after the shows and those who have promoted and supported the show in other ways.

In particular, I would like to recognize the work of the costume crew. They have done a fantastic job creating and maintaining the wide array of costumes for this show. They deserve a great deal of credit for their hard work.

I think we may have the start of a Christmas tradition."
